What is Bitcoin Cash?
Bitcoin Cash split from Bitcoin in August 2017 over the block-size debate: it raised the block size to allow cheaper on-chain payments. It keeps Bitcoin’s proof-of-work and 21 million cap but is a separate network with its own price.
What to know before trading BCH
A layer-1 coin trades on the network’s adoption and on the whole market’s risk appetite. Check where it sits against Bitcoin on the heatmap before crediting a move to the coin itself: most altcoin rallies are Bitcoin rallies with extra leverage.
