What is BNB?
BNB is the token of the Binance ecosystem. It pays gas on BNB Chain, gives fee discounts on the Binance exchange and is periodically bought back and burned by Binance. Its price is closely tied to the fortunes of the exchange that issues it.
What to know before trading BNB
An exchange token rises and falls with the venue that issues it: volumes, fee revenue, buybacks and regulatory news about the exchange move it more than the broader market does. Concentration risk is the word to remember.
