What is Stellar?
Stellar is a payments network launched in 2014 for fast, cheap transfers and tokenised assets, overseen by the Stellar Development Foundation. XLM pays transaction fees and serves as a bridge asset between currencies on the network.
What to know before trading XLM
A layer-1 coin trades on the network’s adoption and on the whole market’s risk appetite. Check where it sits against Bitcoin on the heatmap before crediting a move to the coin itself: most altcoin rallies are Bitcoin rallies with extra leverage.
